Alara Permaculture Garden

Alara’s Permaculture Garden is situated around our factory at King’s Cross and is a project that started in 2005, transforming a derelict piece of land into a beautiful garden. The idea spread further resulting in a vineyard, an orchard, a community garden, now producing unique and biodiverse fruit and vegetables. Our permaculture garden is home to over 80 different food crops including,  among others, silverberry, pomegranate, Japanese wineberry, apricot, apple, pear, plum and edible hawthorn and largest yacon plantation in Europe.

We believe that there is a necessary change to a sustainable future and food, as a fundamental requirement of society, must be at the forefront of that change.
