Todays Kamut® is believed to be descending from 36 grains taken in 1940s from a stone box in an ancient tomb near Dashare, Egypt.

The flakes are big, pretty yellow and sweet tasting. They are a good source of high quality proteins.

People with wheat allergy are usually not allergic to Kamut®.
