ALARA LAUNCHES NEW RANGE TO HELP LEAD A HAPPY AND HEALTHY LIFE
Expanding into the snack and functional food market by adding to our existing muesli range with a number of new products under Of The Earth brand, which was exclusively launched at Biofach 2008.
Of The Earth’s product range includes a number of functional foods and snacks that have been sourced and created specifically to cover the full spectrum of nutrients needed to lead a happy and healthy life.
This range includes Lucuma Powder, an excellent source of nutrients with a taste similar to maple syrup, and Yacon Syrup, which is often used as an alternative glucose free sweetener and prebiotic, which contains very few calories.
Visitors to stand 161 were able to sample Of The Earth’s snack pack, ‘Earther’s Delight’ a superfood snack offering a revitalizing mix of Goji Berries, Cacao Nibs, Pumpkin Seeds, Coconut Chips and Maca – a Peruvian fruit that is powdered and can be added to cooking and also drinks.
Alongside this new range Alara was displaying its successful sustainable range which includes 5 mueslis packaged in an innovative, waste saving brown paper bag. This range features Active muesli, the first muesli to be certified Fairtrade, organic, and gluten-free by using a blend of slow releasing grains such as quinoa to help boost energy levels.
